    Title: New Sewing Machine
    Yesterday, DH bought me my Christmas present that I picked out. A new Bernina Activa 230PE
    I do very little quilting but the stitches seem to be ones I will get alot of use out of. There will be quite a learning curve for me on this machine since I am so used to sewing on my Viking Freesia which I love. So, why did I need another machine then? I've been asking myself the same thing since I have no room for my new machine but I like to sew on different machines. I think each machine has it's own personality.

    I now own and love:
    Bernina Activa 230PE
    Viking Freesia 425
    Huskylock 936
    Brother Innovis 4000D
    Brother coverstitch machine

    I am working on the Wallet Purse

    out of the Charleston Floral Dots.
    So far it's been pretty easy.

    Title: I finished the jacket
    Actually, I finished the jacket a couple of weeks ago and DD has been wearing it daily. I really like how it turned out. The pattern was easy to sew. I did use my walking foot to stitch the inside facing along with some spray adhesive. Other than that I followed the directions.

    Title: Jacket I am working on
    I have just cut out a jacket for my DD using KS3290 pattern. I decided to use Blue Polartec Velour which is perfect for the contrast of this jacket. I need to get this finished quickly because it appears cold weather is quickly coming to East Tennessee.
